The Convincing Ministry of The Holy Spirit of God's Love and Grace in the Life of The Believer

The Convincing Ministry of The Holy Spirit of God's Love and Grace in the Life of The Believer - by Pastor Reginald Fleets of Covenant Word Gospel Evangelistic Ministries Church (Atlanta, Ga) and Reginald Fleets Ministries International

From my new teaching series on Grace Prayer(s): I am sharing some information about prayer that can be found in Paul’s letter to the church at Rome. In Rom 8 where we do not have a specific prayer noted or pinned that the Apostle Paul himself prays, I do see something from my study about prayer that I would like to share with you and I hope it blesses you. Through this study I hope you gain valuable and wonderful insight into the Prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit and into the prayer ministry of Lord Jesus Christ in the life of the believer as made possible by Grace through faith in Christ finished work on the cross.
Quick Summary: Believer - The Holy Spirit internally confirms, convinces, and testifies with our spirit assuring us in Christ Jesus concerning our identity in Christ, our identity in our new spirit, concerning His exceeding great and precious promises by which we are partakers of the Divine nature, concerning our freedom from condemnation, concerning our freedom from the law of sin and death. The Holy Spirit internally confirms, convinces, and testifies with our spirit assuring us God's Love, Mercy, Help and Compassion towards us when we are at times of need.
Our Lord Jesus Christ intercedes for us on our behalf through HIs Unlimted Unconditional and Unfailing Agape Love that He 'always' has for us, towards us and in us; His ever abiding Love always allows us to be more than a conqueror through Christ in our Grace Walk and in every area of our lives.
Key passages:
Rom 8:27
The Spirit…maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:34
Christ… maketh intercession for us.
***Believer, the result of the Prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ is that you become confirmed, convinced and assured! Confirmed, Convinced and Assured (CC&A) of what?
 Answer:
CC&A of your sonship (that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and that you have eternal security in Christ)
CC&A that you have Eternal LIfe
CC&A that you are accepted in the Beloved
CC&A that you are Loved of God
CC&A that you are justified, sanctified, redeemed
CC&A that you are the righteousness of God
CC&A that you are an heir and joint heir with Christ
CC&A that you are forever Blessed of God and free from every curse
CC&A that you are forever forgiven of past, present and future sins through the one-time sacrifice of Jesus shed blood alone
CC&A that you have Salvation (soundness, wholeness, peace, safety, protection, health and provision)
CC&A that you are more than a conqueror
CC&A that all things work together for the good (because Christ 1st Loved you, and you now are able to receive, partake and fellowship in His love)
CC&A that nothing can separate you from the Love of God
CC&A that God is for you and God will never be against you or at war with you (Christ is your Peace), The Father has not wrath for you and will never do you harm.
CC&A that we are God's beloved children, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus.
*** The word CONFIRMED, can be found in the amplified version for the following passage in Rom 8:16, I would like to bring focus to this Grace truth in this teaching:
Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies and CONFIRMS together with our spirit [ASSURING us] that we [believers] are children of God. 17 And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.
***The Holy Spirit prays (intercedes) to the Father on our behalf always in accordance with God’s perfect will for our lives. – Rest in the perfect prayer ministry that the Holy Spirit always has for you inwardly and outwardly and in every area of your life. Have confidence in the prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit and of our High Priest The Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 8:26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of God’s people in accordance with God’s will.

***Believer, Grace is about God's Sole Initiation and God's First Initiation - (God first Initiating His Love, Passion, Good Pleasure and Good Will towards us independent of any human self-effort, pious religious deeds, good works or personal merit of our own.) There is no self-boasting in Grace, all of the Glory goes to God. Even the faith to receive God's Grace comes from God as a free gift. We cannot even boast in our great faith muscles, accolades or abilities.
Rom 8:28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God
***(RF Note: we love God because He first loved us - We love Him because He first loved us. - 1 John 4:19 NKJV),
to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers. 30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].
31 What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? 32 He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself].
***Believer, Our High Priest – The Lord Jesus Christ prays (intercedes) for us in His Love for us! Christ first loved us! Christ currently/presently first loves us!
Rom 8:34 Who is the one who condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God interceding [with the Father] for us. 35 Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].
***Believer, the result of the Prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ is: You become convinced!
38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
***Believer, let us thank God for His Unlimited Love towards us which we have in Christ Jesus our Lord – Let us thank God for the prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit and of our Lord Jesus Christ in convincing us of this Grace truth and so many other unlimited truths of His love towards us that we are only just beginning to grasp as a result of this New and Better Covenant of God’s Love and Grace.
This is why we teach this message here at CWGEM. – Grace and Peace to you, from Pastor Reginald Fleets
